Tagine and Tulips tells the story of my bi-cultural identity, inspired by my grandmother’s journey as a first-generation Moroccan woman in the Netherlands. By merging Moroccan craftsmanship with Dutch traditional dress into textiles and form, I create a dialogue between past and present, heritage and environment. My work is an ode to migration, cultural blending and the richness of growing up bicultural. It reveals stories that often remain unseen and invites recognition and connection. For me, fashion serves as a social instrument and becomes a bridge between worlds where identity is not fixed but constantly evolving.
