In ‘same old song, same old dance’ something is continuously in motion (especially during opening times). Feel free to peek and peep inside, as long as you’d wish for, as long as it lasts.*

In her installation, light, sound, video, object and performance come together unregulated, entirely accordant to the script. On the occasion of this exhibition in EXbunker, Anouk will make her debut as a performer in her own work. Promised to become a spectacle!

the escalator is always rolling

Every day the same game repeats itself, at the same time and place as yesterday, just with different players. Your body gets absorbed into the flow of the rush hour, while your mind is disconnected. As the train leaves the station, you take your seat in the midst of absent gazes. ‘the escalator is always rolling’ is an exploration of the mental numbness of repetition, predictability and the drag of going somewhere that doesn't fulfill you.
