Rosan Olij (2003) is a critical fashion practitioner and artist, who works with questions, and through her projects seeks for answers. For her, fashion is a form of art through which she gets acquainted with and can begin to understand the world around her. In her work, the designer emphasizes the underlying and oftentimes invisible systems that drive our society and its participants to move the way they do. With artistic and theoretical research as fundamental pillars of her projects, Rosan weaves interpretations of her environment into the patterns of the garments she creates.
