Junhao Xiang [Zeonho] is a third-year fine art student at HKU. In his work, he uses several media to develop his research project and to visualize it into an artwork, mainly focusing on sculpture, installation, and video. Xiang combines experimental and autonomous ways in his artistic practice to reconstruct the context within his research, generating his perception of social, cultural, and political issues, phenomena, and representations. Recently, he initiated his research project named: “The Garden as a Political System” in which he focuses on the context of the garden and how it has shifted in the past up until now through the entanglement of timeframes, colonization processes, cultural exchange dialogues, and the imperial ideology.
