As a social fashion and food designer, my work revolves around the connection that arises through food. I experiment in collaboration with others, which allows me to try out new ways of presenting, ranging from performances and experiences to educational projects and exhibitions. My work invites encounters, where I look for ways to stimulate the senses and create awareness around the meaning of fashion, food and the connection between people and art.
After organizing two multi-sensory experiences on Saturday May 3rd, I will open my doors on Sunday May 4th and the new exhibition “Sculpting the Senses” will be open to visitors.
This work is an ongoing project following on from what was created during the experience I organized. The sculptures that were made will serve as inspiration for new work. I will design this during the rest of the month at ExBunker. Where in previous work I used ingredients as inspiration for creating a fashion collection, I now do that with sculptures.
