EXutrecht is looking for new art committee members!

EXutrecht is an Utrecht-based art platform that offers space to emerging artists in unique locations. The foundation organizes exhibitions from the EXbunker, a former World War II bunker in the Wilhelminapark; the EXboot, a former prostitution boat from the Zandpad; and, since 2025, EXtern, which hosts exhibitions in ever-changing, unexpected locations. EXutrecht makes art accessible and affordable for everyone and offers artists the space to develop, establish their profile, and create new work.

Would you like to help shape the programming of our unique exhibition spaces? Do you have an affinity for contemporary art and a good sense of what is happening in the Utrecht art world? Then we are looking for you!

As a member of the EXutrecht Art Committee, you are jointly responsible for shaping our program. Four times a year, you guide an artist in the realization of an exhibition. Please allow four to eight hours of guidance time per artist. Additionally, the Art Committee meets twice a year for a selection meeting.

You have a good network and a strong commitment to the Utrecht art world. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about art, enjoy collaborating, and like guiding artists and contributing ideas to the artistic direction of EXutrecht.
